S&dB is proud to announce that it has been awarded a prestigious funding from EIT Food to further develop and scale its vSET (seed embedding technology) — a novel solution designed to enable regenerative agriculture in open field vegetable cultivation. EIT Food is supported by EIT, an independent body of the European Union.
The project, titled: “Development of Seed Embedding Technology for Open Field Vegetable Cultivation Enabling Transition to Regenerative Agriculture (vSET)”, is covered by a total project budget of €1.5 million, and backed by our loyal and committed investors Brightlands Venture Partners and LIOF.
We are honored to collaborate with a powerful European consortium of partners:
- G's Fresh(UK) – leading vegetable grower and implementation partner
- RISE Research Institutes of Sweden – expert in environmental validation and systems analysis
- Mechanisatiebedrijf Nanne Kooiman BV – specialist in engineering and technology development partner
The project and the consortium are supported by our strategic partners BASF | Nunhems and Sensus.
This collaboration marks an important milestone for regenerative agriculture in Europe. With vSET, we aim to offer farmers a practical and scalable cultivation system that rebuilds soil health, enhances biodiversity, and secures economic resilience.
We thank our team and all stakeholders for their continued support and belief in our company and the potential of our technology!
